About
A thought doer, not a thought leader.
I rebuild how organizations work with AI, with people at the center. Strategy, execution, and genuine humanity in one person. What follows is the personal side, who I am and how I show up.
My story
The long way to the work I do now.
James (my twin), me, Lyn, and our dog Pie in Florida, right after Mom moved us with $500.
It started with $500
When I was five, my mom moved three kids across the country in the middle of the night with $500 to her name. As a single mom, she taught me early: if she couldn't take care of me, I had to be able to take care of myself. I became a rower, and a serious one, second in the country. I did all of it to get somewhere better.
MBA graduation. Night school on top of a full-time job.
I climbed the ladder
I built the career the hard way: the roles, the titles, an MBA earned at night while working full time, seventeen years turning strategy into systems that actually worked. From the outside, I had made it. Inside, I kept making myself smaller to fit the hierarchy, and the work that would come to define me was still ahead of me.
Home with two of my babies, in the hardest stretch right after the layoff.
Then it broke
Then I was laid off at 34 weeks pregnant, feeding bottles to a two-year-old and a one-year-old with a third on the way. Getting cut while pregnant sent my life into a tailspin: postpartum anxiety, insomnia, every interview leaving me feeling unseen. I was living the exact fear millions of people carry when their work disappears.
Making my vision board, the day I realized I could write my own story.
The breakthrough
In the hardest stretch, I read a book called Worthy that asked one question: what would I do if I couldn't fail? My answer was start my own business. So I got brave, worked on my scarcity, and started building, going deep into AI and building an app of my own. I had no idea it would make me an AI consultant.
My family today, in the Arizona desert. The reason for all of it.
What it became
That app became the Phoenix Formula, and it went on to train hundreds of people to see and rebuild their own worth. Building it made me an AI expert the only way that lasts, by actually building. Today I do that for whole companies: AI organizational design, with people at the center.
What I believe
AI was never meant to cut people. It's how a business grows, and how its people grow with it.

What I value
Strategy is the skill.
The people are the reason.
I do this because I want people to have the most fulfilling lives, and to actually use their gifts in the short time we get. My family comes first, always, and that same care is how I show up at work. These are the values I have operated from long before AI arrived.
Authenticity
I am the same person in every room, with a client, with my team, and at home. I do not put on a corporate persona or perform a version of myself. What you get is simply me, and I think people feel that.
Reliability
I keep my word and I do what I said I would. I am known for delivering, and when something needs to get done, people come to me. I stay with it until it works and hold myself to the outcome.
Curiosity
Learning is my number one strength, and I mean it. I would rather admit I do not know something and go figure it out than pretend I have it handled. I find the gift in every experience.
Impact
Making a real difference is what drives me. I am at my best closing gaps, solving the problem underneath the problem, and giving people back time for the work that matters to them. I want what I build to move something real, and I can usually see how to get there.
Drive
I make things happen. Give me an idea and I will get it moving, not next quarter but now. I am a recovering overdoer, so I have learned to aim that energy at what actually matters instead of everything at once.
Innovation
I love figuring out things no one has done yet. Hand me something unfamiliar and I will research it, make a plan, and build it, then find the simpler way through. Pioneering is where I come alive.
Care
At the end of the day, I want everyone to have a fulfilling life, and work is a big part of that. The people I work with are never a transaction to me. I want real relationships, and I want people to feel valued for what they bring.
Service
Giving my time is not the extra, it is the point. I volunteer around fifteen hours a week, and using what I have to lift other people up is simply how I want to spend a life.
Self-trust
The most valuable thing I can leave a person with is trust in their own capability. I love helping people see worth in themselves they did not know was there, and the tools we use should make them more sure of what only they can do, never less.
Outside of work
The rest of me.
Who I am off the clock shapes how I show up on it. A few of the things I love:
Three kids under four
Weekends feel like running a daycare. I wouldn't trade a minute of it.
Date nights
Dinner out with my husband, ideally on a good rooftop.
Weekly tennis
My husband got seriously good during my MBA. Now we play every week.
Pool afternoons
Floating in the pool on a warm afternoon.
Trail hikes
Five minutes from my back door into the Tonto National Forest.
Paddle boarding
On the Salt River when I'm lucky. I love every time I get to.
Hot yoga
A pre-kids love I wish I could do more of.
Wellness retreats
Whenever I can get away for one.
Mentoring
I mentor a 17-year-old girl in foster care, and we've started a flower business together.
Cooking & baking
An ideal day leaves room to cook and bake a good meal.
Pottery
Just getting started, and I love the focus. My first piece is a Mexican salsa bowl.
Spanish
Fluent from a year volunteering in Ecuador.
The proof
Two decades of doing the work, not just advising on it.
I have led transformation at enterprise scale and built AI ventures of my own. The numbers live on my track record. These are the credentials the work is built on.

How I work
I deliver through Equilibrium Collaborative.
All of my consulting runs through Equilibrium Collaborative, a collective of 30+ independent senior consultants who take on the engagements they genuinely care about. People who are trusted, supported, and working on problems that matter bring their whole capability to a client.
For each engagement we assemble a unique, aligned team from a deep bench spanning organizational strategy, data and analytics, AI transformation, change management, culture, and process redesign. Conscious consulting, delivered by people who are highly experienced and fully present. I hold the same belief about AI: used with care, and with real respect for the people it touches, it makes a culture stronger instead of wearing it down.

Choosing a consultant
In the end, it comes down to a few human things.
Consultants can be hard to tell apart. What matters most is who they are, how they show up, and whether you trust them to deliver and recommend the right path for your organization. That is what I hope this page gave you a feel for.
